Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were immaculately clean and of better quality, but they felt a bit squished without space for bags and lacked an iron and ironing board. The service was great with prompt and friendly staff, but waiting up to 30 minutes for a drink was a downside. The location was good, offering a nice quiet spot with easy access to Keswick, and the countryside views were beautiful. The dining was hit or miss, with lovely options but a bit overpriced if not pre-booked. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.
The room was clean and comfortable, an executive-grade ground floor annexe that was very cozy and featured both separate shower and bath units. However, the rooms were small with no views.
The hotel had exceptionally warm rooms, but lacked more toiletries with only 1 shower gel and shampoo. It wasn't what we paid for, which was spacious and nice. The service went above and beyond, especially when I unfortunately had an accident while out walking. The location was brilliant, with friendly staff, and the dining was hit and miss due to coach loads of Japanese tourists dominating the buffet area. The facilities were clean and comfortable, with a location that is perfect for exploring the stunning surroundings.
